1877    Sitting Bull leads 1,500 of his followers into Canada to ask protection from the Queen.

1909   Nathaniel Seymour Thomas consecrated Episcopal Bishop of Wyoming, the first Episcopal Bishop with Wyoming solely as his territory.

1978  Special Session of the Legislature concludes.  The Legislature had failed to adopt a budget during the regular budget session.

1987  The Parco historic district in Sinclair added to the National Register of Historic Places.
